And he still managed to give his team 14 wins this season.<BR/>If Hal and Hank has 10M to waste on Cameron, they can afford to give Andy 12 or 13M.Raven Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04009922354559808311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315155203706829641.post-33947733666395169832008-12-20T16:23:00.000-08:002008-12-20T16:23:00.000-08:00With Pettitte, its just a stalemate. The Yankees respond with $10 million take it or leave it, and the cycle repeats. The Yankees want to give Pettitte what they were paying Moose last season, feeling that it was adequate, and Pettitte has gotten used to the $16 million he's been getting. Thus the disconnect.Fernando Alejandrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11051242696406856273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315155203706829641.post-45925504880890464202008-12-20T15:15:00.000-08:002008-12-20T15:15:00.000-08:00oh, is that the quiz at yardbarker? I'd take Pettitte over anyone, but not at $16 million. Lowe will probably be the most costly in terms of years and dollars, so I would stay away. The one or two year deal that Pettitte and Sheets would get allows us an opening in the rotation in the very near future for guys like Hughes, Kennedy, Brackman, Coke, or anyone else who proves their worth.Fernando Alejandrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11051242696406856273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315155203706829641.post-81561592740351059982008-12-20T10:27:00.000-08:002008-12-20T10:27:00.000-08:00I would take Sheets first - over Petitte, Lowe, or...I would take Sheets first - over Petitte, Lowe, or Hughes - definitely!!!!TribeGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09101096653072676142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315155203706829641.post-66301451298169895782008-12-20T09:50:00.000-08:002008-12-20T09:50:00.000-08:00I agree. It could be Hughes and Kennedy battling out for it, but let's also not forget Aceves who pitched very well down the stretch for us. Also, Sheets and Lowe are still on the market. I would take a two year flyer on Sheets.Fernando Alejandrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11051242696406856273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315155203706829641.post-55764514276816445032008-12-20T09:08:00.000-08:002008-12-20T09:08:00.000-08:00Doesn't Pettitte need to sign already?
