The newest name attached to the Yankees is that of
Justin Duchscherer. In terms of high risk, high reward guys he is very appealing. He was mainly a releiver in his time with Oakland until 2008 when he was made a starter, and really performed. He posted 2.54 that year in 22 starts, and aced the Yankees in a couple starts, but since then he's dealt with depression and injury issues that have kept him out of the game. Last year he made 5 starts with a 2.89 ERA before injuries knocked him out for the season. Any player coming back from injury is a risk, but the reward could be high on this one. Sign the boy!
