The Good
Hughes wasn't terrible, going 5.2 innings and not allowing any earned runs, but errors behind him allowed 3 runs, and he wasn't at his sharpest to pitch deeper into the game. The bullpen held it close with Claiborne and Chamberlain taking up the middle relief, and Mo getting the save. Nunez had a couple hits including a triple that tied the game, and Lillibridge redeemed his earlier error with a go-ahead single in the 9th.
The Bad
Lillibridge had an ugly error that led to a 4-run 6th for the Rangers. Up to that point, the Yankees had been hitting decently having scored 3 runs. That 1 run lead seemed an impossible chasm, and Lillibridge was responsible. Luckily, Lillibridge would rectify the problem by singling in Nunez.
The Ugly
We desperately need some hitters. Desperately.
Hopefully the CHF Has a Good Investment Plan
Money is not being generated from homeruns, but hopefully they've invested their previous earnings wisely, perhaps in some dividend paying stocks with large payouts.
