Reynolds Goes to Cleveland...

Mark Reynold's has signed with Cleveland.  How does this impact the Yankees?  Well, Youkilis was considering an offer from Cleveland to play third, and if the Reynold's signing precludes Youkilis from playing in Cleveland, it may put the Yankees offer as the next best thing.  We'll have to stay tuned.

I hadn't even thought about Reynolds. I don't think anyone will play him at third anymore because he is such a terrible fielder. Cleveland is signing him to play first, so he should not block Youkilis.

He would have been a bad fit on the Yankees. He would be Granderson-lite: more strikeouts, less power and worse fielding.

Granderson-lite is a perfect way of describing Reynolds. I'm hoping you're right. I really don't think $12 million for Youk is a good deal. Not to mention that I just really don't want him on the team.

Yes, Reynolds is going to play first. But the Indians apparently have someone named Lonnie Chisenhall to play 3rd.

But the idea of Yuckylisp playing for the Yankees makes my heart want to explode, my spleen to rupture, my lungs to pop, my brain to leak out of my ears, my colon to clench...

Well, you get the idea.
