Third Base Not Looking Great

Recent reports has Jeff Keppinger signing with the White Sox and Eric Chavez signing with the Diamondbacks.  That leaves Kevin Youkilis as one of the last standing third basemen the Yankees have looked into.  If they sign Youkilis, $5 says Joba pegs him in spring training just out of habit.

Right field isn't looking good either. And if the Yankees are actually shopping Granderson, who do they expect to play left field once Gardner takes over in center?

I'm wondering if the Yankees missed a solid opportunity in Victorino. But that would have been a three-year deal, which is completely out of the question for the frugal Yankees.

We just don't have Shane Victorino money. We don't even have Eric Chavez money, which is saying something.

Youkilis? Seriously?
