The Good
Sabathia was so dominant, he was almost perfect! 14 strikeouts last night and the 15th win of the season for him. Teixeira and Granderson both hit their 28th homerun of the season.
The Bad
Everyone seems to think that Sabathia lost his no-hit stuff after the rain delay. Putting the blame on rain is a tactic straight out of the history books, most prominently used by the Spanish armada in their loss against England.
The Ugly
The Mariners losing streak extended to 17 games last night. Today they have their best chance to snap that with King Felix going against Phil Hughes. This will be a telling game for Hughes. We'll see if he's able to step up for this game, or continue struggling his way through starts.
Hey You! Get Off My Cloud!
You don't know them and you don't know their style! A little Method Man to warn you that Teixeira and Granderson are in their own class. They each hit their 28th homerun of the season, giving more than enough run support for CC.
