The Good
The Yankees actually hit and Sabathia put up a good line. At the end of the day, the Yankees played well, it just didn't amount to anything. Nunez, Soriano and Cano all hit homeruns, and Nunez, Soriano and Wells all had multi-hit games.
The Bad
The Yankees are currently in 7th place in the Wild Card standings behind teams like Kansas City and Cleveland.
The Ugly
After scoring 5 runs, you would hope that our bullpen, which has been a
strength this year, would be able to hold down the lead. They did not.
Mo blew the save for just the 3rd time all season. Normally, it would
be easy to dust yourself off and keep moving, but the Yankees really
needed this game, and were poised to take it. Instead they lost the
lead, lost the game, and got swept in this series, making this one of
the uglier losses of the season.
At Least A Child Was Helped
In a rare showing of power, the Yankees hit 3 homeruns, including Nunez' first of the season, to provide $6 for the Children's Health Fund.

Remember the rumors about trading ARod to Miami? Maybe we can still make that happen. Here is my ghostwritten letter for Cashman (because I assume trades are initiated by letters, preferably handwritten):
Dear Jeffrey Loria:
Please consider claiming ARod off waivers. With your keen eye for bargains, I am sure you will be interested. ARod's highlights are numerous:
-He has a .429 OBP. Talk about an impact bat! Shin-Soo who?
-He has strong ties to Miami. You might even say Miami is in his blood!
-You might not have to pay him a cent next season! He's a perfect fit for your team-building philosophy.
-He might take your spot as the most hated person affiliated with the Marlins.
It's a no-brainer Jeff. Let's make it happen.
Sincerely,
Bronny
This letter may very well be the best written trade request in the history of sports. Well done sir.
