The Good
I bet you didn't know that was his real name, but CC Sabathia really put the team on his back yesterday. He pitched a complete game shut out with 9 strikeouts in a 1-0 Yankees win. The Yankees scored because of errors. If Tampa Bay had not made those errors, its possible the game would still be on.
The Bad
Since when is James Shield a dominant pitcher? When did this happen? We had to rely on errors to beat him!
The Ugly
Our powerful offense was limited to just 4 hits. That's 1 shy of what Jeter had in Saturday's game when he broke 3,000. They can take the next 3 days of the All-Star break to think about their performance.
Will Anyone Think of the Children?
Not yesterday. The Yankees scored one run and didn't even have the decency to make a solo homer. No money for the babies at the Children's Health Fund.

CC is truly an ace. I think the pie was well deserved.
I'll reserve my judgement on Sabathia until his next start against the Red Sox!
I heard he's going to opt out and then accept a new contract paying him nothing but unlimited hugs and high fives.
That could bankrupt the Yankee front office who are in too far an emotional deficit to give hugs.
oh man, I would be totally into a bear hug from CC.
Except that he might lovingly crush me to smithereens.
It might not even be so loving. He may just crush you for no reason!
