Well That Wasn't Fun

The Good

Cano's 3 hits, put him at .300 for the season, and Martin's 2 hits kept him above .200 for the season.  We may be grasping at straws here, but straws look like gold after yesterdays game!

The Bad

The 5 hits by Cano and Martin were all the Yankees could muster yesterday.  Between age, and the high number of 1-dimensional hitters we have on this team, the Yankees really need to settle in over the last 6 games if they want to keep the division away from Baltimore.

The Ugly

You have to start wondering about Ivan Nova's long term viability in the rotation.  After a 4.2 inning 4 run effort last night, Nova's ERA is at 5.02 on the season.  At this point, you really don't want him to pitch in the post season, unless its out of the bullpen.

Goose Egg

No homeruns means nothing for the kids, not even a goose egg, which may have given the children the proper nutrients necessary for good health.

Honestly though, we may be seeing a lot of replacements next season!

No updates and investigative reporting of what happened in Toronto?

Forget about Toronto! Yesterday the Yankees won a critical game and made the Red Sox look pitiful in the process. RJG's readers demand a report. All Yankee fans demand a report. America demands a report!
