The Good
Martin, Granderson, and Cano all had home runs. Martin had two. By himself. Robertson, Chamberlain, and Ayala shut down the Sox. All of the above is good.
The Bad
The Yankees have been forced by today's performance to change Ivan Nova's nickname. He will henceforth be known as 'Mediocre-Nova'.
The Ugly
The Yankees didn't score a single run in the third inning. Maybe tomorrow they'll bother to show up for the whole game!
The Feats of Athleticism
There is no singular achievement in the history of the human race greater than hitting a ball over a wall. Martin did it twice today. Granderson and Cano each did it once. You, mere mortal, didn't do it at all.
Mark Teixeira 4hr = $8
Curtis Granderson 2hr = $4
Russell Martin 3hr = $6
Alex Rodriguez 3hr = $6
Jorge Posada 3hr = $6
Robinson Cano 2hr = $4
Andruw Jones 1hr = $2
Total = $36

I beg to differ; Nova pitched well. =/ He is young and he'll get better.
He will get better. When he's better we can call him Super Nova. Until then the results are at best middle of the road I think. "Good for a young pitcher" is not the same as "Good".
