The Good
Colon pitched a good six innings, allowing only two runs. Soriano continued his seventh inning dominance, proving the theory that he only pitches well in odd numbered innings. Robertson also lock down the eighth once again.
The Bad
Wade was bad today, putting two men on in the ninth and recording only one out.
The Ugly
Mo's first pitch left the house for a three-run home run. That's three shaky outings in a row now for our vaunted closer. Is it panic time? Probably not. But it's still ugly.
Today's Mathematics
Granderson hit his 32nd home run of the week, while Cano hit a grand slam in the seventh. $4 more for the kids.
