Don Mattingly Leaves Dodgers
Don Mattingly has stepped down from his post as the hitting coach of the Los Angeles Dodgers for family reasons. He will be replaced by Mike Easler. Don Mattingly has asked that his family's privacy be respected, just what the press excels at, so that shouldn't be a problem. He will remain in the dodgers organization as a special advisor and coach. The change in position will allow him to spend more time at home in Evansville, Indiana.
