Dear Oklahoma City,

Congratulations on defeating the Spurs. Also, congratulations on having the whitest fan base in all of professional sports. You make hockey games look like 125th Street (before Columbia took it over). But could you do me one favor? Could you not dress the entire crowd in white? Usually when that many white people are dressed up all in white, things get bad. Religious iconography is set ablaze on lawns, you hear the name 'Bubba' a lot, everyone is armed for no apparent reason, a lot of scariness all-around. So could you just tone down the all-whiteness a bit? T-shirts, that is.

It is just strange to me that a team from Oklahoma City is in any sort of major sports finals. I have no idea what life is like in Oklahoma City. Maybe people wear white shirts there all the time because shirts with colors are considered flamboyant?

Oh sure, when ever you see a couple of white people dressed in white you go right to the Klan. I want you to know that I have a lot of white friends and none of them are Klansmen. That's right I'm playing the white card....you just can't see it because I placed it on a table with a white tablecloth. Other than that, if you asked 100 people what sporting event occured between San Antonio and Oklahoma City, basketball would be their last choice.

There was a game in an earlier round where they gave the crowd blue t-shirts, I think that's a better choice.

All white people may not be Klansman, but they may make some people feel uneasy when they show up in a stadium and surround a bunch of black guys while wearing all-white. Sure, maybe that's how stadium seating works, but I have to think Tony Parker and Tim Duncan were unsettled, leading to Oklahoma's series win. That and they probably realized they were late for the early-bird breakfast at Denny's.

Tony Parker is French and thus used to people waving white fabrics.

I just laughed out loud, but I don't want to use the acronym, which basically means "I find that mildly amusing and/or recognize that was an attempt at humor." Anyways, Good point.

I have to agree, that was pretty funny.
