Schilling Respects the Gangster

One of our loyal readers pointed out this post that retired Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling had about Jeter passing Gehrig on his blog. Say what you will about Schilling, and he was probably one of the Sox players I hated most in his time there, but he pays proper respect to Jeter, and you can tell he cares about the game.

From now on everyone will respect Jeter's Gangster. People used to hate, but jeter slapped them around over 2,722 times. Now people know.

Grrr... I can't stand Curt Schilling. Please don't make me be an adult and admit that he is not the anti-christ. I won't do it I tell ya, I just won't!

People do know, and they'll continue to know well over 3,000 times.

Don't worry Cheshirecat, you don't have to do anything. He isn't my favorite person, but fair is fair, and he had some nice things to say respecting the gangster.
