The Good
Granderson hit a home run and the offense put up five runs. That needs to be enough. The bullpen pitched well.
The Bad
Burnett blowing the lead in the sixth was bad. But worse, Burnett got a tattoo to commemorate the game.
The Ugly
After the game, Cashman could be seen plotting his revenge against Jeter and Posada in the corner of the room. He had pulled his cape over the lower half of his face so that you could only see his eyes as they darted around the room while he laughed maniacally. Then Joe Girardi came out of his office and told Cash that Girardi's son needed his cape back. Cash was not pleased.
Something for Nothing
The Yankees didn't win, but the kids get paid anyways. Granderson's home run means $2 more.
Mark Teixeira 9hr = $18
Curtis Granderson 14hr = $28
Russell Martin 8hr = $16
Alex Rodriguez 6hr = $12
Jorge Posada 6hr = $12
Robinson Cano 9hr = $18
Andruw Jones 1hr = $2
Brett Gardner 3hr = $6
Nick Swisher 2hr = $4
Derek Jeter 2hr = $4
Francisco Cervelli 1hr = $2
Total = $122
