All Quiet on the Cameron Front
All discussion of the Cameron-Cabrera trade has disappeared since the announcement of the Burnett signing. According to this blog post from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the talks are not dead, but simply on hold. The Yanks are apparently too busy signing Burnett and hoping that cute boy from class, Andy, calls to reply to Milwaukee's last voicemail and resume the trade talks. Best bet is Cameron is a Yankee on Monday.

Cameron's BA OBP SLG:
.250 .340 .448
Abreu's BA OBP SLG:
.300 .405 .498
And guess what, Cameron is one year older than Abreu.
Cameron is certainly no replacement for Abreu, though he did have 70 RBI for a guy who played in about 120 games. I still expect the Yanks will add Manny.
It will be a nightmare if the Yankees fail to sign a couple of power hitters.
But I believe the most horrible nightmare for Yankees fans will be:
On the first day of Spring Training, CC accidentally trips, falls and crushes AJ.
that would be bad, but pretty hilarious.
Haha, this morning i was watching sportcenter, and when they first announced the developing story that the Yankees are going to approach Manny. Both of the analysts at the time just went off mumbling on how the Yankees were going to buy the entire free agent market... god i love how the alot of the ESPN crew is biased towards the Red Sox. Makes sportscenter more fun to watch when the Red Sox lose to the Yankees.
I'm sick of hearing ESPN rant about the Yankees and their spending. Wait until Boston signs Teixeira (please, no). They'll hail the deal as a genius move by Theo.
