Yankees Stop Trying, Lose to Mets

The Good

Javy went seven, allowing only one run. The game was played at Yankee Stadium which is way better than Citi Field. Also, We're not owned by the Wilpons.

The Bad

Our bullpen was not good. Allowing 3 runs over two innings. Granted, since our offense is apparently on strike, it doesn't really matter what they do.

The Ugly

Zero. We scored Zero runs. Clearly we erred in signing Mark Teixeira just one year before his age related decline would set in. A-Rod is so old he has hip problems. Either that or he's a German Shepherd. Hard to say. Additionally, we lost to the Mets.

Let's Not Talk About It

No home runs. While the Yankees were stingy last night, you don't have to be. Sign up for our raffle (Make sure to mention you were referred by RJG) and you'll have a chance to win tickets to a Yanks-BoSox game in August, at a time when our team should be in the midst of its usual post-All Star Game tear.
