Friend of the Blog Wants Adam Dunn in All-Star Game

Frequent poster and friend of the blog Fred Trigger is now writing for the Bottom of the Barrel blog. He's currently working on a campaign to get Adam Dunn into the All-Star game. Dunn's a funny player in that he's a perennial 40 homerun hitter, but is also a perennial front runner for most strikeouts in the majors. His default line for a game is 1-4 with a homerun and a strikeout. Either way, Fred's a good guy with a lot of baseball knowledge. Give his site a look.

i like the idea of pulling for him. i just hope he doesnt completely rape and pillage the yankees this week. roberto the summer is good. its nice to have to not write a shit ton of papers. and the yankees are making things somewhat enjoyable when they arent playing the sox. yesterdays game was great to watch. i wonder who they are going to dfa with bruney coming up. i would put my money on tomko or veras and hopefully its veras. i play a game when he pitches. its called how many pitches does it take for jose veras to piss me off.

8 pitches, which is what he throws to warm up.

I'm a little more patient: 5 pitches, which takes him to ball one after walking the lead off hitter on 4 pitches.

I'm glad your summers going well Quinn. The Yankees have been playing well, which is evident when you look at the standings and we're only 2 games out despite going 0-8 against the first place Red Sox. If we had won half those games we'd be up 2 games. Its very ugly to have them sucking this much against the Red Sox, but hopefully they can grow a pair in time for for their next series.
