Growing Tired of CC

I've got to admit, I'm kind of growing tired, not to mention wary of one Mr. CC Sabbathia. First we hear how he doesn't want this to be a drawn out process and how there will be no tours, just offers and a decision. Then he gets a $140M offer, with no other suitors in sight, and he's yet to make a decision. Maybe it's his agent's fault, but I'm starting to worry that this guy has drama queen written all over him. Think about it, it's kind of like when your girlfriend says don't make a big deal about my birthday, then you don't, then she never speaks to you again. If you don't want it to be a long, drawn out process, then make a decision already. Even if you simply don't want to pitch in New York, just say, thanks but no thanks, and then look for a smaller deal elsewhere. If my impression is correct, that CC is the type of guy who needs attention, is high maintenance, says one thing and means another, then New York is not going to suit him anyway. We cannibalize players like that in this town. Why do you think A-Rod is such a head case here? I've heard mostly good things about CC so I'd like to think I'm wrong, but if I'm not, I'm going to go ahead and say I called it.

Don't be hard on CC. He's just having a complete mental breakdown and who wouldn't. First the Brewers offer him money and the Yankees offer him more money. Then Jeter calls to recruit him and probably a Brewer calls to keep him. And on top of that, his agent is probably saying, "Don't listen to anybody but me. I have five more teams on the list." Let him eat his turkey in peace. If he turns us down after that, THEN you can rip him to shreds.

AROD may be a headcase, but even in his down years, he still produces like a mother fu$#&%@.

he does, but that's because he has supernatural baseball powers.

My fellow Yankees fans, now that the world famous 50-year-old Diva is officially divorced, I sincerely suggest you brace yourselves for Ms & Mr Madonna's fantastic Kabbalah wedding ceremony held, probably, in the new Yankees Stadium.

There's no way that would be allow to happen.

Just think about how much cash the Yankees may collect by selling tickets to the wedding. Hal and Cash will definitely make it happen.

Madonna's not marrying A-Rod. I predict their "romance" will be over by spring training.

I can't even look away for a day without everyone going at it over my Alex. I refuse to believe he's gettin it on with Madonna. I will continue to believe he is now single hooking up with every PRETTY girl throwing herself in his path, not some old shriveled up raisin!

Anyway, on to CC. Once again, no problem in Cleveland. When he was traded, he did say that he was sad to leave such a tight knit clubhouse, so, no, he does not like drama and he was no problem in Cleveland and everybody liked him. He said a while back (through his agent) that he wasn't making any decisions until after the Thanksgiving holidays, so stop acting like a TYPICAL YANKEE FAN and quit beating up on him before he even gets here. Geez! I'm excited too, but that's what the dude said...

Oh, BTW, thank you to Fred and Robbie Fingers for acknowledging that ARod is a PHENOMENAL ball player. It's about time! And thank you to Jane for dooming that romance that I refuse to believe. It's just too gross!!!!

I gotta wonder what it's going to do to his mental state, after he signs this blockbuster deal, when he catches the uproar from an 0-5, 947.00 ERA start.
And you know it's an utterly possible scenario.
Just a cheerful holiday thought.

If Sabathia doesn't get off to a good start, or if he, dare I say, gets injured, it could be a very long 6 year contract for him. I think he'll be fine though.

Welllllll...............he got off to a HORRIBLE start last year. And I just KNOW how forgiving the Yankee fans can be when THAT happens! :o)
