These Are the Breaks

Tough Spring for Rays' third baseman Evan Longoria. First he had his car stolen. Now he's had his house burgled. My guess? Johnny Damon's not happy with his contract, so he's getting paid one way or another.

What is Longoria up to? First, he is the target of crimes. Second, he owns an AK47 that was taken in the burglary. What does a baseball player need an AK47 for? Batting practice? I don't think so. Now, he needs to watch out for Damon. He can definitively shoot Longoria for fun.

In other news, a man with an AK-47 robbed a bank vault containing Longoria's life savings before speeding away in a 1967 Camaro.
