I May Eat These Words But . . .

. . . I don't think we're winning this game. Kennedy is throwing strikes, but they're ending up on the other side of the outfield fence. Meanwhile Kazmir, apparently the third cy young candidate on the team, is shutting us down completely. He's thrown a lot of pitches for a guy who's given up one run, so I don't expect him to go really far into the game, but we haven't gotten anything done against the Rays pen in the last two games, and I don't think we will now.

And I can foresee that even though Wang throw a perfect game, the Yankees still manages to lose the game.

i emailed my retired philosophy professor to say "thank you" because i am graduating today. he is a die-hard yankee fan. in his reply, he said, "What isn't right is the sad state of the Yankees. This weekend when they play the Mets both teams are so bad that they both may lose all the games." he congratulated me at least.

Well, congratulations on your graduation!!!! I know mine was one of the BEST days of my life so that's excellent news and what an accomplishment regardless of the state of the Yankees right now. Your professor was very clever in his assessment of this Subway Series. I've heard many opinions on TV stating the same idea, but he put it the best! It would be nice if the boys would win one for you tonight, huh?
