We Can't Go All Day Without Posting

But we technically did since it is now 12:39am here in NYC, but perhaps for our readers in California they can get their gangster fix. Of course today's opener against the Mets was rained out. A lot of drama surrounding this series. Randolph may be the manager during the first game and not the second. Both teams suck right now so watching them should be like watching little league baseball. Jeter, is still quite gangster however. Today, he did something so gangster I can't even tell you about it. Let's just say it involved death defiance, a cliff, a damsel in distress, a can opener, and a game of jacks. Oh, and a muppet disguised as Darth Vader. It was something to behold.

that's an interesting option. I don't know, he's a good coach, and he's probably a better manager than he's getting credit for. Frankly, I think the Mets are overreacting b/c of what happened last september. I listen to the FAN (sports radio here in NYC) and you get all these guys calling and saying Willie needs to go b/c he has no fire/passion. it's the same thing these idiots were saying about Eli Manning last September/October and now he's their hero. That being said, if Willie goes the Yanks should consider him but I don't think they'll make any moves. Girardi has his guys in place and no one is complaining about the Yankee coaches. If the Mets can Willie and go after Bowa or even mattingly, Willie may end up in LA with Torre, that's my guess. The only way willie ends up back with the Yankees would be if the Mets hired Pena, but I've not heard his name come up in discussions. Should be an interesting weekend. The weather is beautiful this morning in NYC, there will be baseball.

from mlb.com..

"Billy wants us all to be accountable," Wright said. "Maybe the whole matter is a blessing, it gets us fired up a little bit.

it does not matter whether or not you know the story.. it is just.. wright is right once in a while and we will win.
