The Greatest Sentence Ever

From an article in the New York Times:

"If the bill passes — the news agency Reuters predicts it will — it would become illegal in Spain to kill apes except in self-defense."

So if you're strolling down a street in Spain and you're attacked by an ape, feel free to kill it. But if you're strolling down a street in Spain and simply come across an ape, you better leave it alone. It's a good thing this bill has been proposed. Since, coming across apes is so common on the Iberian Peninsula and all.

What does this have to do with baseball you ask? Why don't you feel free to shut yourself up, I answer.

Hamilton has been having a monster season. He already has 95 RBI's! Bad news on the contract front though. This is his second season in the majors, which means that he's still a year from arbitration, and 4 away from free agency. Plus, there's no way the Rangers, or any team with a stable of prospects is going to let Hamilton reach free agency. I wouldn't be opposed to trading for the kid. That left handed power would look pretty gangster down in Yankee stadium.

Judging from the fact that Hamilton
lacks the ability to hit homers in clutch time, he is already a Yankee.
However, they should change the Home Run Derby rules. It's ABSURD that the winner hit less homers than the runner-up.
