Ummmm . . . Maybe We Should Change This Headline

Here's a recent screen grab from the NY Daily News website featuring an article about our dear back-up catcher, Francisco Cervelli. The article recounts how Cervelli was hit in the head by an opposing player's backswing during a Venezuela Winter League game. The headline, however, suggested something else. I think more caution is merited in the future, Daily News.

Between this and Trevor Hoffman blowing World Series games, this blog is suddenly NSFW.

lady gaganonymous,

my bad for misreading your post on the whole mariano sucking thing. I'm a passionate Yankee fan. When someone attacks my people, I fight back. And this post exemplifies why journalism is wonderfully imaginative.

Dylan - No prob. I get angry when people attack Mo, and mock them forever.

Fernando - I saw a blurry cell phone picture of Jeter and heard about CC and Andy talking to Javy!!!!

Haha, close enough! Man this has been a boring off season. For a blog that fabricates most of our info anyway, this proved to be was an amazingly difficult break.
