Embracing New Technologies
We here at RJG believe in embracing new technological advancements, no matter how stupid. In that vein I have started a Twitter account at twitter.com/robbie_fingers. Don't bother to look it up now as I have yet to tweet. I'm thinking of using it for the purpose of commenting during games. I'm not really sure how Twitter works but I assume people can comment on tweets which would allow us to essentially have live conversations during games. Granted, if I'm wrong about that I've simply become another shameful person who has a twitter account. Let me know what you think of the game comments idea.

I really like the idea a lot, AND I think I'm your first follower
You and your readers could also chat live with us during games over at Yankee Fans Unite! "Who?", you ask. Well, the site was created a couple of seasons ago after the trolls started taking over Mark Feinsand's, Blogging the Bombers, and new members are always welcome. :-) Two of us are big fans of RJG--we bring you guys up on occasion--love your sense of humor! Check us out if you'd like.

Twitter is always a good self-promotion tool. www.buyingachampionship.com has one too, but I haven't used it yet. I would rather just read blogs.
JWagg, my email alerts confirm that you are indeed my first follower.
I have a twitter account.. I've used it approximately 4 times.
This might be a great use!
Yeah, we'll see how it goes. I've never even looked up a tweet, so it should be an interesting experience. I'll tweet for about the first hour of the game today and see how it goes.
It doesn't really seem that there's a way to interact with anyone using Twitter. Am I wrong about that? Somebody school me please.
i enjoyed it. You'll probably have a better time with it and be able to interact more if you follow other people, for example MLB beat writers and other bloggers. you can find some on my profile
are you under "jwagg"?
Jwagg90 just look under your followers
You can't tell me what to do! Just kidding, I'm a follower now, which I assume is a good thing. I'll start following the rest of you guys who signed on soon enough, but I need to shower.
Charmaine, thanks for that link! I used to frequent Mark Feinsand's blog when he worked for MLB.com. I saw some of the same people posting over there. That was always a good crowd.
Fernando,
We've done our best to rid ourselves of the trolls at my blog, so feel free to come back and check it out (you too, Charmaine).
Also, I do live updates on Twitter for every game I'm at... just follow "BloggingBombers"
-Mark
I'm following you now on Twitter, Mark.
