The Good
The Yankees took it to Roy Halladay scoring 6 runs in 6 innings off of him, including 3 homeruns. Sabathia went 7 strong inning allowing just 3 runs, but much needs to be said of our bullpen which managed to pitch 2 scoreless innings.
The Bad
Silly Jeter went 0-3. The only other Yankee who had an 0-3 night was Ramiro Pena. The two of them brought shame to the shortstop position.
The Ugly
Scorpions can poison themselves with their own stings. Who knew?
Respect Jeter's Gangster is for the Children
The RJG is committed to donating $2 for every homerun hit this season to the Children's Health Fund, and yesterday, the Yankees helped the cause with three homeruns. Many thanks to Nick Swisher, Mark Teixeira, and Curtis Granderson.
But don't let us have all the joy and fulfillment that comes from giving. If you donate to the Children's Health Fund and tell them that you were referred to them by the RJG blog, you will be entered into a raffle for tickets to the August 7 game between the Red Sox and Yankees.

I was both confused and elated at last night's game. Halladay was AAAANGRY RAWR SMASH.
CC was too! Only he hid it very well. Stoically even.
It's nice to see Halladay has lost (for now) his Yankee touch.
