A Very Good Series

The Good

The Yankees swept in Oakland, and its really what you would hope for. Not that its that important right now, but the Yankees hold just a slim lead in the standings, and we need win these kinds of series. AJ Burnett continued on his road to consistancy with a 7 inning 2 run effort, while Swisher furthered his case for all-star appearance by going 3-4 with a homerun.

The Bad

For us? Nothing. For Oakland....

The Ugly

The Yankees now head to Seattle to take on King Felix, Cliff Lee, and some other pitchers of little consequence. The Yankees lost the previous series against them in humiliating fashion, so this is the Yankees opportunity to make them pay....in blood.

Give...For the Babies

Yesterday both Mark Teixeira and Nick Swisher showed how much they care for the babies by hitting homeruns. Today, you can show how much you care by donating to the Children's Health Fund, and getting yourself entered into a raffle for tickets to the August 7th game against the Red Sox. See details here!
