For everyone who ever blamed Joe Torre for our first round exits, his Dodgers are now 2-0 over what was probably the best regular season team in the NL. My guess is the Dodgers will win this series. If they do, and I acknowledge that they haven't yet, all criticism of Torre for first round exits must end. Further, we must all accept that not giving him a two or three year contract was a mistake. Hopefully Girardi turns out to be the manager Cashman believes he can be. Only time will tell. He is of course following a legend and he could win three world series as a Yankee and ppl would say Torre won four. I'm trying desperately not to turn into Joe Girardi's NoMaas but I'm skeptical of the guy's ability to manage this team. Hopefully next year will be different, and if Wang stays healthy it should be. We definitely make the playoffs if not for Wang's injury, as he would have more than made up for the six games we missed the wild card by.
In conclusion, Joe Girardi blows, Joe Torre is great, and I blame Wang for what happened this year.

I couldn't agree more.
wait a sec. Look at Torre's demeanor during the Dodgers games, hes been attentive, and actaully WATCHING the game...something he never did for the yankees after '03
Come on Bucky, he watched the games. I didn't watch the games b/c those bums weren't hitting, so I'd tune out.
Congratulations, Joe Torre, for willing your team to go on a hot steak at the right time. Yeah, you guys already know how I feel on a managers effect on a team.
Check this out.

that's pretty funny, I guess his wife didn't do so well in the settlement after all.
well, at least she got custody of the kids. Fernando, you need to do something with this.
Joe Torre could only manage the team with the players his GM signed.
Blame Cashman for all the pitchers that couldn't pitch.
Blame Cashman for all the hitters that couldn't hit.
And blame Joe Girardi for asking his Ace who is world famous for not being able to handle the bat to bunt when we were 3-0 in the lead.
I would, only I'm headed to Texas where my blogging will be limited. Roberto, its all on you.
