I think it may be time to give Swisher the right field job. I know it's only three games, but he's hit off the bench, and hit very well today. We need guys at the back of the line-up to produce if we're going to be successful and Swisher seems to fit the bill. I know Nady isn't expensive, but he's more expensive than Swisher and they should've traded him, perhaps for bullpen help (you can never have too many arms stockpiled).
Regardless, good win for the team tonight. We've clawed our way back and are now only one game below .500. This teams got fight, no question. That's also 21 runs in three games, which bodes well for the offense.

Pavano, 1 inning, 6 hits, 9 runs 81.00 era. Maybe the Indians might want to put him on the DL
Steve! Long time!
I don't think Pavano needs any help landing on the DL.
I am totally for Swisher over Nady in right field. When Nady got caught off of third base in the first game he just stood there and got tagged. That bothered me. The least he could do is try and run for home. Maybe the Orioles drop the ball or make a mistake. I think Swisher would have made them work a bit for the out.
I cracked up when I saw Pavano got clobbered. He is New York's revenge for the midges.
New Yorker's are colder than even Joba was willing to admit if they would use Carl Pavano as revenge against someone. Nobody deserves that.
I like Nady, but it would be great to see Swisher get playing time. I really like how he works counts. But I'm worried about his history of Ks.
Swisher should start, yes, but not over Nady. He needs to start over Matsui, who has become dead weight. Swisher in LF, Gardner in CF, Nady in RF... Damon as the DH and spelling them sometimes... Matsui as a pinch hitter.
